Content Policy
Establishing clear boundaries to maintain a safe, high-quality public link directory.
1. Prohibited content categories
To protect visitors and maintain directory quality, Sharely strictly prohibits submissions containing or linking to the following content categories:
- Malware & Deceptive Software: Links pointing to viruses, ransomware, spyware, keyloggers, unencrypted executable downloads, or browser hijacking scripts.
- Phishing & Financial Scams: Deceptive mirrors attempting to credential-harvest login details, impersonate banking institutions, or promote pyramid investment schemes.
- Illegal & Harmful Material: Sites facilitating illegal drug trafficking, weapons manufacturing, hacking tools, or severe real-world violence.
- Hate Speech & Harassment: Content promoting discrimination, hatred, or violence against protected groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, or sexual orientation.
- Adult & Explicit Content: Sexually explicit material, pornography, or age-restricted adult services.
- Raw IP Hosts & Unencrypted Protocols: Direct numerical IP address destinations and unencrypted
http://links. - Copyright Infringement: Unlicensed distributions of commercial software, pirated media streams, or proprietary material.
2. How we enforce content safety
Content rules are enforced through a combination of automated filters and community moderation:
- Pre-Publication Queue: Every submission is held in a moderation queue and screened before public directory indexation.
- Community Reporting: Every showcase card features a report button allowing visitors to flag policy violations.
- Immediate Removal & Domain Bans: Confirmed policy breaches result in link unpublishing, account sanctions, and domain-level blacklisting.
3. Our honest commitment
We work diligently to evaluate every submission and maintain a safe directory. However, because external website owners can alter destination pages after publication, we speak with plain honesty: We do our best, but no system is perfect.
We rely on rapid community reporting to identify emerging issues and re-evaluate published links continuously.
